She couldn't help but giggle for the noises and nudged him with her elbow. "Just so long as you call it something after me."

She pushed her dish of goodness away with a wrinkle of her nose. Any more of that and her hips might not squeeze back into the fishnets.

"Yeah? How's that going? Got any universities in mind?"

A slight cloud invades on the otherwise sunny expression.

"Welll.. not really."

He stirs the soupy mess of what remains of the dish.

"I don't think I'd cut it in college."

A furrow in Connor's brow suggests he too is missing her point.
"Well...when they guys were talking about college awhile ago."

'The guys' most likely being Connor's teen heroic peers.

"Robin's only problem deciding where he's going to go, and if he'll accept the free ride they're offering him. Kid Flash pretty much already knows what they're be teaching him, probably already memorized the text books already. Cassie's already taking lessons from Amazon scholars..I.."

He hangs his head.
"I just kinda feel like me going to college would be like some kinda sick joke in comparison."

"Why, Connor?" She didn't like hearing him talk about himself like that. It showed in the gentle concern in her voice and in the touch of her hand to the back of his.

"If money is the issue that can be dealt with, but you can't compare yourself to them. You only have to worry about comparing yourself to you. What do you want?"

"I..I guess I want to.."
he frowns.

"I ..I don't think I know."

Looking up, he makes sure they don't have any eavesdroppers.
"I've been working on trying to measure up to Superman..I just never thought there would be time for anything else. I..."

He frowns again.
"No..that's bull..."

A look of worried guilt.

"I think I'm hung up on maybe getting outclassed."
